Because Scion’s off-campus student housing properties aren’t all built the same, they needed simple, strong brands that tell the unique story of each type to their target audience.

This audience is focused and practical. We developed Alight to give students a place that puts everything they need to succeed within reach.
RESULTS
As their national rollout kicked off in 2019, Scion’s team members are more engaged and are using the brand to inform a new way of thinking about operations. They’ve also experienced 8% increase in online reputation scores.
Alight is a brand that's comfortable and easy going, yet always after it. The jackalope logo is inspired by the brand's nature as a "jumping-off place" for its residents, and the name speaks to the exciting possibilities that lie ahead for all of them.
Alight's series of custom, old school, woodcut-style illustrations are fun and bright because this brand has an old soul and young spirit.
From a thoughtful website to printed merch with real utility, from a satellite Alight popup to real deal amenities, we focused on giving the students the space they needed so they could focus on crushing it.
